I have a few DIYs for you this is going to be small, quick DIYs and they’re going to be based around can make over a small bathroom. The other weekend I spent some time in our bathroom because it was looking regrettable it had no life in it whatsoever, and I just had to put any energy into it, and it reflected that. So, I decided to give it a little bit of a makeover and just going to add some different sort of natural elements to it. I was inspired by the kind of zen style decor. You know nature-inspired decor and I wanted to kind of add those elements into it. So, let’s go ahead and get started. Just read the article below about Zen Inspired Decor Ideas for Small Bathroom.
I found these curly white willow branches at roses for only 499 a bunch, and I thought that would make a nice kind of little divider between the toilet area and the same I had this already silver hammered basin. I poured industrial white sand into it and then one by one I press the branches into the sand. Then I place that right between the toilet and the sink. We found some tumbled marble for only a dollar a sheet. So we’ve got a few sheets of those, and we’ve done some different projects with them.
For this one, we’re going to take a quarter inch MTX, and then we use Loctite adhesive for mirror granite and marble. You just lay out your stones and glue each one down without adhesive let it dry, and then we use white sanded grout we scooped a couple of cups of grout into a bucket. Add a little water, stir or mix and you should have a frosting or cake batter kind of consistency. Then scoop the ground onto the mosaic. Press into all the gaps. Move it along the edges, and we like to have some of the stones sticking out or protruding beyond the edges.
It gives it a more can bring an earthy look and so thin that you just smooth everything out with a wet sponge and then let the grab dry and you’re all done. We’ve made a few of these in different parts of the house, but this one we’re going to place on the back of the toilet and I’m going to set my vanilla orchid on top of it and back stock of toilet paper. We have this blank wall space just above the bathroom, and we want to utilize that space and put in some shelves. We had this one of six boards and cut it into pieces and screw them together.

Next to use germs putty to fill in this through gaps and then let that dry and sand it smooth. We painted the shelves embarrassing sold and kneeled in the picture hanging hardware to the back. Measured and drill screws into the wall and attached the cube shells.
Next, we’re going to make an aromatherapy bath soak with essential oils of your choice. It’s not decor, but it can fit into your decor style, and it’s usable. It’s going to make an excellent aromatherapy bath for you. So, what we’re going to do is choose your favorite essential oils something you enjoy and then pick a carrier oil of your choice. I’m going to use this money de Tahiti this is my favorite vanilla and use coconut oil and then also some coarse sea salt.
Just take a glass jar for some sea salt in at about twenty drops of your essential oil and then a dash of your carrier oil blends it. I’m going to take mine off with a little more sea salt finish mixing it, and you’re all done. Whenever you’re ready to use it, you just take a scoop, drop into your bath water. Let it dissolve, and you’ll have a soothing aromatherapy back.
Natural Element Night Light
One thing I’ve never been a fan of is having to go pee in the middle of the night and stumbling into a dark bathroom. I decided to make this night light, and I wanted it to have natural elements as well. So, I just took a glass cylinder that I got at Walmart and then I grab some stones from the beach, just some smooth. Fill the bottom with that and then place your candle over the rocks and then you have a beautiful night light that has that natural element as well and since it’s going to be a night light, we use a Flameless candle, not a regular candle.

I found these bamboo candles at goodwill for only a dollar. They were brand-new, and they smell like honey, they just are going to fit in nicely with the natural elements theme, and I’m also going to add these stacked stones. If you just beach rocks I found that they’re just, you know super flat very smooth. I always kind of liked the look of stacked stones and also some time doing the bamboo candles. I decided to go and set my other battles up there too.
It Is another aromatherapy bath soak, and it is coconut is amazing. My friend makes these, and I love the packaging. It’s like this little bamboo whole stick with salt inside is just super cute.
Windows Sill Plants
Now it comes to small bathrooms, and most windows are going to be very small. I’m going to have a very narrow window sill, but it’s still kind of fun to take advantage of that space. What I’d like to do is make it little tiny can miniature plants and set them up on the window sill. So, what you can do instead of going out and purchasing a plant is if you already have, a house plant some of them you can take cuttings from and make more plants for free.
I found these tiny white ceramic pots at Walmart and our drainage holes were quite large. I added a few small stones to the bottom and then fill them with potting soil soaked the potting soil with water, and then you can take a cutting from one of your plants. I found an excellent healthy buyer, and it has several levels, it has some roots already coming out of its own, make a cut just below the roots and a half and your quarter inch or so and then remove the last leaf or two. Then I’m going to dip in the rooting hormone that’s optional you don’t have that you don’t have to use. It just makes it kind of start reading a little bit faster, and new routes are going to sprout and grow from the old leaf node areas and just stick it in the soil press down firmly. Now have a miniature apostles plant that will be growing for you very soon.
I also have a peacefully in the bathroom that I have on the floor; it’s currently waiting for a larger pot that peace is a lush rainforest plant that can make a beautiful house plant especially in the bathroom.
I wanted to make the overall space brighter and kind of more spaciousness. So, I added a small, just stuff our towel rack, and that helped open up space and add more light on sensitive since we only have a tiny window. It helped to can brighten up the room and kind of take any light that is coming in through the door and window.
It helps reflect that out and keeping a clean counter top or keeping it as clean as possible with this view items. Out as possible is distressing and it’s more relaxing than to walk into your bathroom and see a whole bunch of things all over the counter. Unless that’s how you have to have your setup and everything but if possible and reducing the number of items or at least organizing them nicely.
I can help create a more relaxing space for you to get ready in the morning. So the only things that we keep our counter it’s our soap dispenser and are cute polar and need set we got that Ross as far as organization goes under our sink.

Don’t forget behind your door on the back of it you can also utilize that space by either putting like a Full-length mirror to help with getting ready in the morning if you prepare in. The bathroom at all or are you going to put a towel rack we put a towel rack got clothes on. It was all white, so it matches perfectly and it just really served us well to have an extra place to hang towels that we didn’t have very many places to be able to hang with towels are ready to let them dry or robes or whatever.
I’m so that’s another option is utilized in that space behind your bathroom door. One of the changes we made to make the biggest difference with switching our old printed fabric shower curtain. We left our vinyl liner up and then I just added a second extension bar. I place it several inches higher up to the give the bath area, more prominent sort of look. Then I added linen curtains on the sides there are my old curtains, and they were folded up and just in the closet.
I’m just sitting there, so I want to put them to use instead of going out and buying a new fabric showering, so we just use that instead as our new linen fabric shower curtain so that made a nice kind of change to their like the natural look of it rather than the old shark and we have been there before. Of course, there are lots of ways to do DIY shower curtains where you can purchase. The metal grommets and put them into any fabric just about that you want and you can make your shower curtain just like that. Thanks for reading and I hope Zen Inspired Decor Ideas for Small Bathroom useful for us.
